Booking conditions

Map of the site:
We don’t send out maps of the site as we believe we are the best people to judge which pitch to allocate as a lot depends on who else is on site during a particular time. We try to let people choose their own pitch on arrival as much as we possibly can although choice is restricted in high season. Although we can send you a map if you want to book a specific pitch (see below). 

General booking conditions for non pitch specific bookings
To make a booking, we take a deposit equivalent to the cost of the first night. The deposit is non refundable but deducted from your bill at the end of your stay. We won't specify the pitch number in advance but will provisionally allocate you what we consider to be the most suitable pitch available at the time of booking. We will try and give you choice of pitches when you arrive. In high season, when pitch choice is limited, we allocate the pitches giving priority to those who book earliest.

Pitch-specific bookings
If you would like to make a pitch-specific request (river, n°23, 2 adjacent pitches etc), we add a 10€ administration fee to each booking. This is not deducted from your total bill, unless we are unable to fulfill your pitch request. If you want to book a specific pitch, you need to contact us by email as we don't accept pitch-specific bookings over the phone.

You cannot use a low-season discount card or voucher to make a pitch-specific booking.

Amendments
If you amend your arrival or departure dates up 7 days before you are due to arrive, we will transfer the deposit paid to the amended dates and will endeavour to honour your pitch request, although this cannot be guaranteed, especially for river pitches and in high season.
We will not accept amendments within 7 days of your arrival date. If you can't come on the day you are booked to arrive, you lose the deposit paid for that night. You are welcome to re-book and we will do our best to get you as good a pitch as possible.

Cancellations
If you don't turn up on the day you have booked to arrive, we will keep your pitch until midday on the following day, after which we will remove your booking from the system.

We make no additional cancellation charges but the deposit and administration fee (for pitch-specific bookings) are non-refundable. You Should be able to claim on your travel insurance in the event of an unavoidable reason for cancellation and we are happy to provide a letter as proof of your booking should this be required.

Not booking?
We understand that the essence of camping is freedom, which includes the ability to 'go as you please'. If you want to turn up without booking, and choose from the pitches available on the day, that's fine by us. We have no minimum stay and we usually have space, except for approximately three weeks form late July to mid August. However, please be aware that the best pitches are reserved in advance and you can't expect to get two adjacent pitches on the river without booking!
We will certainly have pitches available if you wish to arrive without booking in May-June and September.
